I grew up near Lexington, Kentucky, graduated from Franklin County High School, and attended Eastern Kentucky University. I’ve had the privilege of raising my two children here in the Lexington area and remain deeply committed to serving our community—especially by advocating for under-served families and neighborhoods. In 2018, I was honored to receive an honorary doctorate from University of Kentucky in recognition of my humanitarian efforts.

In addition to serving as your local insurance agent, I founded RadioLex, a bilingual public radio station dedicated to connecting and strengthening our community. When I’m not helping customers with car insurance, home insurance, renters insurance, or life insurance, you’ll often find me tending to the garden I plant at our office each year. As we move into the new year, my goal is to continue helping Lexington-area families and small businesses protect what matters most with reliable coverage and personal, local service you can depend on.
