"UPDATE: As you can all see, the Debra office did reply to me. It’a been a month after their reply and we have NOT received a check. We received a tiny one but the one we’re suppose to get is almost 8x the one we got and they keep saying it’s in the mail but it’s been in the mail for a month and it just never arrives. Odd? Very! If you’re thinking about going with State Farm, think again! My parents had a total loss in November 2023 and they didn’t get a check until October 2024, almost a whole year. Unfortunately no agent thought about removing the total loss vehicle from their policy and they continued to pay it until October, another agent told us they would be getting their money back from November 2023 til October which is fair right? After all the car wasn’t being used. Well that agent ran as far as he could and left State Farm, then Kelly decided to “help” and instead of backdating from when the car was totaled, she said it would be from May to October.. some help right? This is my parents first accident in 20+ years, most of those years have been with State Farm and getting this claim taken care of has been a NIGHTMARE!"
